It is now labeled for use on vegetables, fruits, nuts (including pecans), ornamentals, trees, pastures and mosquito control. Malathion is an organophosphate insecticide used on a variety of agricultural food and feed crops. Malathion is commonly used for use on lawns, gardens, and ornamental trees, shrubs, and plants. Martin's Malathion 57% is also used for public health mosquito control, and in government programs such as the USDA Boll Weevil Eradication Program. Martin's Malathion 57% provides excellent control of fleas, aphids, thrips, spiders mites, lace bugs, adult Japanese beetles, tent caterpillars and others on fruits, vegetables & animals as listed on the label.
