A very interesting piece: The matrix front is coated with mostly white to peach-colored miniature Barite blades which have in turn become partially coated with Malachite and lesser Azurite. The contrast really caught my eye, but under magnification it’s even more impressive. There is Malachite and Azurite scattered over all the sides, but the front featuring the coated blades is by far the most interesting. A unique and attractive specimen in excellent condition. Location: Aouli, Midelt, Khénifra Province, Meknès-Tafilalet Region, Morocco Size: 12 x 8 x 6 cm
