Fritz Sperry’s second title focuses on the peaks between Hoosier Pass to Interstate 70 and the Pikes Peak zone. There is so much great skiing here and most people don’t take advantage of it enough. Access is usually pretty good and the southern option provided by US-285 is a refreshing change avoiding ingthe I-70 traffic. This book covers the classic Loveland Pass zone where Coloradans have been skiing for over a century. A_Basin backcountry is covered although with the opening of the Steep Gullies we have lost some routes.
