MakerBot Method Printer

MakerBot Method Printer   MakerBot Method introduces an entirely new category of 3D Printing defined by INDUSTRIAL RELIABILITY + PRECISION, FASTEST CAD-TO-PART, and MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE + MINIMAL INVESTMENT. We call it Performance 3D Printing. INDUSTRIAL RELIABILITY + PRECISION: Consistent print results that match design dimensions.   Circulating Heated Chamber Ultra-Rigid Metal Frame Dry-Sealed Material Bays Dual Performance Extruders (with tech borrowed from SSYS patents) Precision PVA Dissolvable Supports   FASTEST CAD TO PART: Up to 2x faster than desktop 3D printers*   Save days or weeks over conventional outsourcing- Additive Manufacturing, CNC, etc. Enables seamless printing without tinkering.   MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE + MINIMAL INVESTMENT: About the first-year cost of ownership of an entry-level industrial 3D printer with no technician required.   Accelerate product development Ensure parts are how you want them before sending out for 3rd party production Provide designers direct access to 3D printing so they reach decisions faster Easy deployment and operation at the enterprise level Low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Reclaim development time with MakerBot no-hassle 3D printing platform   *Based on internal print speed testing compared to popular desktop 3D printers when using the same layer height and infill density settings. Dependent upon object geometry. Compatible Software   SolidWorks, Autodesk, CATIA, Rhino, TinkerCAD   Warranty   1 Year (includes 6 months of standard warranty and 6 months of free extended warranty $950 value) Provides replacement of parts that don't conform to MakerBot published specifications Response time = 3 business days   What ships in the box?   1 MakerBot Method Performance 3D Printer 1 Tough spool 1.65lb 1 PVA spool 1.0lb 1 Spring Steel Build Plate (with 1 sheet of Build Tak) 1 Nozzle Cleaning Brush   Technical Specifications PRINTING Print Technology: Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) Dimension Accuracy: ‚± 0.2mm or ‚± 0.002 mm per mm of travel (whichever is greater)* Build Speed: Up to 2x times faster than desktop 3D printers**; Max Filament Flow Rate: ~50mm3; per sec; Print Head Travel Speed: Up to 500 mm/sec Layer Resolution:‚ Maximum Capability: 20 - 400 microns Maximum Build Volume: 7.5 (6.0 with water soluble supports) x 7.5 x 7.75 inches HARDWARE Print Heads: 2 Frame Construction: Aluminum Die Cast base, Extruded Aluminum Uprights, Steel Weldment Gantry Frame Number of Chamber Heaters: 2 Chamber Heaters Cartridge Size:‚ 1/4" 60W Heaters Print Sensors: 21 Nozzle Diameter: 0.4 mm Nozzle Material: 17-4 PH Hardened Steel Max Extruder Drive Torque: 200 Newtons through 19:1 gear ratio (3x more pull force than desktop standard) Extruder Thermal Core Length: 51.5 mm (3x longer than desktop standard) Display: 5'' full-color capacitive touch screen Build Plate: Spring Steel Build Surface: Reusable, flexible grip surface Camera Resolution: 640 x 480 pixels Ambient Operating Temperature: 15 - 26 ‚ºC, 10 - 90% RH non condensing Storage Temperature: 0-38C SIZE & WEIGHT Product Dimensions: 413 mm x 437mm x 649 mm / 16.3D x 17.2 W x 25.6H Product Weight: 65 lbs Shipping Box: 76.5 H x 50.0 W x 55.5 D centimeters [30.1 H x 19.7 W x 21.9 D inches] Shipping Weight: 81.7 lbs MATERIALS Supported Materials:‚  MakerBot Precision Materials: PLA, Tough, PVA MakerBot Specialty Materials: PETG, more to come Dry-Sealed Filament Protection: 30 days Filament Diameter: 1.75 mm (0.0069 in) Spool Type: Smart Spools with RFID tag Spool Size: 750g (1.65 lbs) model, 450 (1.00 lbs) System: Open Filament System (Filament Aux Port) SAFETY & COMPLIANCE Safety: Full Enclosed, Door Safety Switch, Lid Safety Switch Compliance: FCC, EMC, Low Voltage Directive 60950-1, 62368 ELECTRICAL Power Requirements: 100-240 V, 4A. 50-60 Hz, 400 W max Connectivity: USB Drive, USB, Ethernet, Wifi SOFTWARE Software Bundle: MakerBot Print, MakerBot Mobile Supported File Types (Windows only):‚ MakerBot (.makerbot), STL (.stl), SolidWorks (.sldprt, .sldasm), InventorOBJ (.ipt, .iam), IGES (.iges, .igs), STEP AP203/214 (.step, .stp), CATIA (.CATPart, .CATProduct), Wavefront Object (.obj), Unigraphics/NX (.prt), Solid Edge (.par, .asm), ProE/Creo (.prt, .prt., .asm, .asm.), VRML (.wrl), Parasolid (.x_t, .x_b) CAD Plugins: SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360 Operating Systems: Windows (7,10); Mac OS X (10.12+) SERVICE & SUPPORT Warranty: 1 Year (includes 6 months of standard warranty and 6 months of free extended warranty ¢‚¬œ $950 value)
