Make A Custom Ring Workshop

(To see how many seats are left, select the class day and REFRESH the page) Build a custom ring from scratch in this four hour workshop where you will learn the basics of silversmithing! In a small group of 6 students, I will walk you through stone selection, sizing, sawing, forming and even soldering. Each student will have their own work station, tools and personalized guidance on how to bring their ring design to life. With endless options in stones, backplate shapes, stamps and ring shanks, you will walk away with a 100% custom ring and basic knowledge of metal smithing. All tools and materials are included. Apps and bevs are provided. Each workshop now includes a beginner tool list that you can download immediately after purchase. Workshops will be held at the AK Metalworks studio in Homer. Around one week before the event, each student will receive an email with further details. We have a lot to cover so it's important that you arrive on time! See what other AK Metal students have made in the past here! WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY- By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing to this cancellation policy. Most of the summer students are from out of town. Homer summers are incredibly busy and hard to find lodging on a short notice. Due to that reasoning 100% refund if given two weeks notice. 100% refund if I am able to rebook your seat – no matter the notice (this happens often!) Super extenuating circumstances may be allowed such as major medical. Please reach out via email.   Don't see a date that works for you?
