Majestic Aquarium Caster Carts

Our caster carts are a great addition to any heavy aquarium setup, making setup and relocation significanlty easier. Our carts carry a large static load distributed across multiple caster support points (each caster is rated up to 375lbs). The carts are permanently mounted to the bottom of your stand. If you’d like to reposition your tank, just drain about 2/3 of the way down (like you are doing a water change), move your tank, and refill! Avoid painful losses of livestock and setup down the road! Key Benefits of our Majestic Caster Carts: Easier installation of the stand tank and equipment. Shift the aquarium away from the wall for aquascaping and maintenance. Want to move your aquarium to another room? Just drain 2/3 of the tank and wheel it over! Powder Coating Caster cart base pricing is for a plain steel frame (not powder-coated). In the vast majority of applications, powder coating is not necessary for caster carts for these reasons: The caster cart is being used indoors. For our Majestic wood stands, the carts are recessed beneath the wood, and the metal frames are out of sight. The stand protects the caster cart from water splashing/dripping from the tank. However, if your cart is likely to be exposed to moisture, powder coating may be recommended. If the cart gets wet, it will rust. In this case, it “probably” won’t damage your cart or significantly reduce its strength. However, it could drip rusty condensation, which could stain your floor. This may or may not matter depending on your application. It is up to the customer to evaluate the pros and cons, as caster carts are not warrantied against rust. Notice: Carts are designed to support static loads over extended periods; they are not intended to be moved with a full fish tank on top. Make sure the full weight of your aquarium, stand, and aquascaping do not exceed the Max Weight Rating of the cart.
