Mahlkonig E65W Grind-by-Sync (GBS) - (Black)

E65W GbS

THE FUTURE OF ESPRESSO GRINDING

The E65W Grind-by-Sync espresso grinder features the groundbreaking technology of The Sync System. The E65W Grind-by-Sync is a significant evolution of the E65S Grind-by-Weight, showcasing remarkable new features and delivering the ultimate innovation in efficient workflows and consistent coffee quality.

Equipped with cloud-enabled connectivity*, the E65W GbS offers an electrical adjustment of the burr distance. This adjustment can still be precisely controlled manually by the barista or, when synchronized with a compatible La Marzocco espresso machine in AV or ABR configuration, it automatically aligns with the target extraction time. The E65W GbS incorporates an intelligent algorithm, enhancing its ability to manage burr distance with precision, ensuring the perfect extraction every time.

Grind-by-Weight Technology

Featuring the popular Grind-by-Weight (GbW) technology, allowing for precise dosing and ensuring accurate, repeatable doses, eliminating issues like over or under-dosing. Unlike traditional volume or timer-based methods, GbW uses a high-precision load cell to weigh the coffee grounds 6,000 times per second during grinding to deliver consistent, high-quality extractions and exceptional flavor in every cup.

Higher Automation & Precision

Automated, fully electrical transitions between grind recipes, adjusting seamlessly based on stored profiles. The AGSA feature provides precise control over grind fineness, ensuring perfect espresso consistency. This system uses two sensors for exceptional accuracy: one tracks the cone shaft’s position, while the other monitors the motor. Together, they enable grind adjustments with an incredible precision of 0.001mm, delivering unparalleled grinding finesse.

Easiest Zero Calibration

Grind-by-Sync revolutionizes coffee grinder calibration, making it effortless and precise. Unlike traditional calibration, which requires manual adjustments, tools, and significant time (often 10 minutes or more), the GbS grinder allows users to calibrate with just a few taps on the display. This easy, tool-free process reduces calibration time from 10+ minutes to just 10 seconds, improving efficiency by over 98%.

Quality Coffee, Effortlessly

Designed to ensure consistent grind quality and precise extraction, regardless of the barista's experience. Grind-by-Sync eliminates the need for lengthy training sessions, allowing new team members to be brew-ready quickly. With Grind-by-Weight technology, it guarantees the same shot precision every time, even with different staff. This helps coffee shops maintain high-quality drinks, even during busy periods, while minimizing skill requirements, so teams can focus on customer engagement and refining their craft.

Voltage // frequencies // phases // nominal power:

220-240 V // 50/60 Hz // 1~ // 440 W

110-127 V // 60 Hz // 1~ // 580 W

100 V // 50/60 Hz // 1~ // 550/700 W

Idle speed: 1400 rpm (50 Hz); 1700 rpm (60 Hz)

Burr diameter: 65 mm

Burr material: Special steel

Average grinding capacity*:

50 Hz: 4-5 g/s @ 250 µm

60 Hz: 5-6 g/s @ 250 µm

Bean hopper capacity: approx. 1200 g

Dimensions (w x h x d): 19.5 x 62 x 28.3 cm

Dimensions of packing (w x h x d): 69.7 x 28.7 x 47.5 cm

Net weight: 12.2 kg

Gross weight: 14.0 kg

Certifications: CE, CB, ETL Safety, ETL Sanitation

Standards:

Conforms to:

IEC/EN 60335-1

IEC/EN 60335-2-64

Certified to:

UL 763

CSA C22.2 No. 195

NSF/ANSI 8

Standard colors:

Polished aluminum, matte black

Polished aluminum, matte black and white

Optional accessories:

Bean hopper approx. 250 g

Bean hopper approx. 1800 g

Burr replacement tool

Calibration weight 1 kg

CB-certified aluminum adapter for Cans

Recommended For

Cafes

Bakeries

Restaurants

Bars

Hotels

Offices

Warranty and Support

Every purchase comes with a manufacturer parts warranty, ensuring peace of mind with every use.
