Magnolia Branch Basket

magnolia makes a room feel finished. fifteen cut branches, leaves broad and glossy—green on one side, warm brown on the other—turning as the light moves. that weight is something smaller stems can't do. in a seagrass basket it reads relaxed rather than formal. it arrives fresh and green, and it won't stay that way. over the following weeks it dries right there in the basket, the green deepening toward bronze and copper. that's the design, not a fault—it's the same piece, twice.
