Magnificent Mushrooms

A mushroom powder worth celebrating Mushrooms are so powerful and yet they are under-celebrated, so we decided to give them a party of their own. Meet Magnificent Mushrooms: our super-functional adaptogen mushroom powder, your daily mushroom party—err, wellbeing boost. Here at Rasa, we source the best mushrooms around for our line of adaptogenic coffee alternatives, so we realized that it was time to give them an extra-potent product to call their own. Add Magnificent Mushrooms to your Rasa, smoothies, broths, and fine... you can add it to your coffee, too, if that’s what floats your boat (we’ll still love you, promise). Our daily boost mushroom extract powder is standardized to >25% beta-glucans (complex compounds found in mushrooms that provide immune support). For those who don’t speak mushroom, this means that Magnificent Mushrooms is the most potent mushroom blend on the market (yeah, we said it, and we stand by it!). Magnificent Mushrooms is formulated for enhanced immunity, beauty, and balance—all the daily mushroom goodness you’re looking for. Meticulously crafted for potency and quality, our Chief Herbalist Ben included 6 highly functional, powerful, and (dare we say) freakin’ rad mushrooms to enliven your cup. Magnificent Mushrooms features: A total of 1000 mg of mushroom extracts per serving. That's the equivalent of 7400 mg of unextracted mushrooms!  Turkey Tail Mushroom 8:1: Perhaps the most extensively researched of all the medicinal mushrooms, this colorful shelf fungus is particularly high in immune-balancing beta-glucans. Cordyceps Mushroom 8:1: The powerful adaptogenic mushroom that enhances performance, immunity, sexual energy, and more. Lion’s Mane Mushroom 8:1: The brain-boosting mushroom revered for enhancing mental agility and nourishing the nervous system. Reishi Mushroom 16:1: The “spirit plant” considered by ancient Chinese sages to be the key to immortality. A shen tonic and adaptogen, Reishi profoundly balances and boosts the body & mind. Tremella Mushroom 1:1: The white-as-snow mushroom is known for its jelly texture and skin-beautifying properties. Poria Mushroom 1:1: The adaptogenic mushroom that supports a balanced mood and relaxation in the face of life’s stressors. Psst: In case you’re keeping track, our blend features all three adaptogenic mushrooms: Reishi, Cordyceps, and Poria. These are the only three mushrooms that are considered to be adaptogens, so don’t let brands tell you otherwise #JustSayNoToAdaptogenWashing. You didn’t think we’d skip our Rasa adapto-magic, did you?! Throw it in the blender with all your ingredients and feel proud that you’re adding something super good for your wellbeing as you slurp it down. Give your baked goods a boost. Toss it in your favorite cookie recipe, maybe brownies, banana bread... oh my. Supercharge your broths. Add our mushroom extract powder to boost your broths, providing a super-powered broth to use as a base for soups, cooking, or to sip on. Boost your coffee or matcha. If you insist on caffeine, we aren’t here to judge. Add in your daily dose of mushrooms to your coffee or matcha for an added wellbeing boost. Small, and mighty 💪 🍄 Our mushroom powder provides 30 small and mighty servings in our 1oz bag. We extract our mushrooms to be highly potent and bioavailable. Let’s break that down. Take Reishi, for example, which is a 16:1 extraction, meaning that every gram of Reishi in our mix is equivalent to 16 grams of unextracted Reishi 🤯 Extracting our mushrooms also makes them more bioavailable—meaning, it allows your body to actually be able to utilize all of its goodness. (That’s why brands that don’t extract their powders offer much bigger bags! Must we remind you that bigger isn’t always better? It’s the way you extract it that counts 😏) Unlike other mushroom powders, our powder is free of fillers, grains, or other things you’d rather not put in your precious vessel. This means more bang-for-your-half-teaspoon. And it means a smaller bag, which means a smaller environmental footprint. Yay! On that note, Magnificent Mushrooms is... Certified organic Extracted for bioavailability and potency 100% fruiting bodies Super potent with >25% beta-glucans (Wondering what the heck these terms even mean?! See below for our glossary!) Reasons to love Magnificent Mushrooms Our mushroom powder supports immunity, energy, performance, focus, and vitality (all in a half teaspoon, whaaat?) Extra-potent powder means one serving is only a half teaspoon, making it easy to incorporate into Rasa, coffee, baked goods, smoothies, broths, and more. Not to get all mushy or anything, but this is a freakin’ great mushroom powder. We don’t love to toot our own shroom (or is it horn?), but we are proud of how we source our mushrooms, as well as their quality and effectiveness. In a market filled with a lot of BS, this is a mushroom powder we feel proud to put our name on. What makes our blend so potent, anyway? We are SO glad you asked (okay fine we planted this question, so we kind of asked ourselves). The truth is most mushroom blends out there aren’t super potent, which means it’s pretty hard to experience the true benefits of consuming these mushrooms. When people turn to functional mushrooms for supporting their wellbeing, they are often looking for mushrooms that support a healthy immune response. Enter: beta-glucans 👋 Beta-glucans, specifically Beta-(1,3)(1,6)-glucans, are a compound found in all functional mushrooms and have the largest impact on our immune system. Our product has been standardized to > 25%, which is the highest on the market. So while a serving is small, the impact is not. Beta-huh? A glossary of potentially confusing mushroom terms: 🍄 Extracted: In addition to condensed strength (as we talked about earlier!), extraction allows your body to actually utilize the important properties of these wonderful mushrooms. If you grind up a whole mushroom (as, cough cough, many companies do) and toss it in a bag, you’re not accounting for... chitin. This pesky compound is found in the cell walls of mushrooms. Chitin is hard and indigestible and effectively locks up all the beneficial compounds we want, so when you extract the mushrooms, you can unlock all its prized properties. Huzzah! 🍄 Dual extracted: Some mushrooms in this blend benefit from dual extraction, meaning they are extracted in both water, which extracts beta-glucans, and in alcohol, which extracts things like adaptogenic triterpenoids. Instead of only extracting mushrooms in water, dual extraction makes sure we get all the beneficial compounds (because #fomo). 🍄 Beta-Glucans: Beta-glucans are complex compounds that have profound immunomodulating properties. While all mushrooms have their individual chemistry—cordyceps has cordicepin, reishi has triterpenoids, etc.—beta-glucans are in all medicinal mushrooms and are what account for the majority of mushrooms' impact on our immune system. 🍄 Fruiting bodies: Fruiting bodies is another name for mushrooms. What we harvest, what we eat, what we think of as mushrooms—this is the fruiting body. Mycelium on the other hand is the invisible below-ground network of fungal threads that produce these fruiting bodies. The fruiting body consistently demonstrates higher levels of beta-glucans and has been used for thousands of years (use of mycelium is a much more recent phenomenon). Want to get even more nerdy?
