Fireball Tool Magnetic 1-2-3 Blocks

Fireball Tool Magnetic 1-2-3 Blocks – Welding & Fabrication Setup Blocks The Fireball Tool Magnetic 1-2-3 Blocks take the versatility of traditional machinist 1-2-3 blocks and make them even more useful for welding, fabrication, layout, and fit-up. Precision ground to measure 1" × 2" × 3", these solid steel setup blocks give welders and fabricators a quick, repeatable way to elevate, space, position, and align parts on the welding table. Better yet, Fireball Tool adds powerful rare-earth magnets to three faces, allowing the blocks to hold onto steel workpieces and welding tables while you get everything positioned. Instead of digging through the scrap bin looking for the right piece of material to use as a spacer, grab a Magnetic 1-2-3 Block and know exactly what you've got. Precision 1-2-3 Blocks Built for Fabricators Each block is ground parallel and square on all six sides, providing reliable reference surfaces for accurate fabrication and layout work. With three known dimensions—1", 2", and 3"—you can quickly change the height or spacing simply by rotating the block. Use them for: Elevating parts above a welding table Creating consistent 1", 2", or 3" spacing Positioning crossbars and tubing Supporting parts during tack welding Setting up repeatable fabrication jobs Layout and marking Holding workpieces off the table for better weld access Creating temporary stops and reference points General welding table setup and fixturing They're one of those simple shop tools that quickly becomes useful on just about every fabrication project. Six Rare-Earth Magnets Per Block Fireball Tool flush mounts two powerful rare-earth magnets on each of three faces, while leaving the opposite three faces non-magnetic. This gives you the choice of using a magnetic or non-magnetic surface depending on how the block is positioned. On 1/2" thick material, Fireball Tool rates the magnetic pull-away force at over 12 lbs, helping the blocks stay put while positioning parts. When you're finished, stick them directly to the side or leg of your steel welding table so they're ready for the next job. Precision Ground on All Six Sides These aren't random pieces of steel cut to approximately 1", 2", and 3". Fireball Tool precision grinds the blocks for accurate fabrication and setup work. Specifications Dimensions: 3.000" × 2.000" × 1.000" Dimensional Tolerance: Oversized up to 0.0005" Squareness: ±0.0003" on all sides Material: Steel Hardness: 50 HRC Weight: 1.6 lbs per block Magnets: 6 rare-earth magnets per block Magnetic Faces: 3 Non-Magnetic Faces: 3 Pull-Away Force: Over 12 lbs on 1/2" material Replaceable Magnets The magnets are mechanically installed and can be replaced using the retaining screws if necessary. Important: Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures above 175°F (80°C). Excessive heat can permanently reduce the strength of the rare-earth magnets. Available Packs Choose the setup that fits your shop: 2-Pack 8-Pack + Case For everyday fabrication, a pair of blocks gives you two accurate reference points. For larger assemblies and repeatable fixture setups, the 8-pack gives you considerably more flexibility for supporting and positioning multiple parts at once. Stop Digging Through the Scrap Bin Every fabrication shop has a collection of random pieces of steel being used as spacers, risers, stops, and makeshift setup blocks. The Fireball Tool Magnetic 1-2-3 Blocks give you a faster and far more precise alternative. Rotate the block to get the dimension you need, use the magnetic faces when you want the block to stay put, and use the precision-ground surfaces as reliable references for your next welding or fabrication setup. Simple, precise, magnetic, and incredibly useful around the welding table.
