Magnesium Body Butter

80% of humans are deficient in magnesium! Magnesium has been argued to be the most important mineral in our body. Not only does magnesium help regulate calcium, potassium and sodium, but it’s essential for cellular health and a critical component of over 300 biochemical functions in the body. So many people suffer needlessly from something as simple as a deficiency in magnesium, and our body butter is an easy way to remedy this issue. Our skin is our largest and most efficient organ for delivering vital minerals and nutrients, that is why trans-dermal magnesium (on your skin) is preferred over magnesium oral supplements where most of the nutrients are lost. Potential signs of Magnesium Deficiency: Migraines/Headaches, Leg Cramps, Restless Leg Syndrome, Anxiety, Growing Pains, Sleep Disorders, Irritability, Nausea and Vomiting, Abnormal heart rhythms, Low blood pressure, Confusion, Muscle spasm and Weakness, Hyperventilation, insomnia. Magnesium Body Butter Details: This body butter is thicker than most "Whipped" body butters on the market. In order to be able to ship this product in the heat, without adding harmful emulsifiers and alcohol, I had to formulate it to be a bit thicker than normal. It still melts very nicely on the skin and a little goes a long way. Seriously, this 2 oz will last you a very long time. I do not add any fragrance to this butter but the cocoa butter has a noticeable "chocolate" smell. Contains approximately 156 mg per tsp. The 2 oz jar totals 3,750 mg of magnesium. Side note- this magnesium got me through pregnancy and resulted in very minimal morning sickness and only a couple of leg cramps which are known to be rampant while pregnant. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I began applying 1 tsp to soles of feet and calves before bed. This makes a GREAT baby shower gift due to the above reasons. UNIQUE INGREDIENTS: Magnesium Chloride Flakes Dead Sea Salt (new addition adding even MORE magnesium + minerals) Organic Unrefined Shea Butter Organic Unrefined Cocao Butter Organic Unrefined Mango Butter Organic Sunflower Oil Organic Castor Oil Organic Olive Oil Distilled water Organic Vitamin E Organic Beeswax Radish Root Ferment Each Tsp. contains aprox. 156 mg of magnesium. Guidelines for magnesium dosing below: DIRECTIONS Topical magnesium takes 30 minutes to be fully absorbed. Apply to the soles of feet prior to going to sleep. Each person has their own individual magnesium level that they need to function well. We have determined these amounts by starting with a tiny bit and increasing until we are sleeping better and have no symptoms of magnesium deficiency, such as arrhythmia, leg/foot cramps and insomnia. For headaches/migraine- apply to back of neck and forehead. For adults, we use at least 1/3 teaspoon every night. If symptoms persist, increase to 1 tsp. The skin will regulate how much is absorbed according to what is needed so you don't have to worry about applying too much. This body butter is for external use only, please ensure it is out of reach of children as children might find the "chocolate" smell enticing enough to eat. Do not apply to areas of broken skin/open wounds as it might sting. ** PLEASE note this is not a "miracle muscle rub" as it takes time to build up in your system, 4 weeks of continual use so that your body can use and regulate the mineral to see lasting effects.
