MagMod Magstand 9 Pro Light Stand

The MagStand 9 Pro from MagMod arrives as an industry-anticipated support solution with augmented capabilities that answer the needs of professionals. MagStand 9 Pro's thoughtful design focuses on performance and rock-solid stability, having a maximum working reach of 9' and a total weight capacity of 14 lb that allows it to safely hold your lighting equipment—all with a collapsible 32.75" body at 5.1 lb. It provides great maneuverability thanks to its patent-pending squeeze-button mechanism and magnetic leg connector system, so you can easily operate and carry a single or multiple stands even with just one hand. Handheld Monopole The MagStand 9 Pro is a complete tripod system that boasts a removable center column that can be converted into a monopole that can handle payloads up to 7 lb. A perfect, lightweight solution for exploring different angle perspectives in the studio or on the move. One Fluid Motion Forget about traditional stands with individual opening of each leg. Squeeze the MagStand 9 Pro's leg locking mechanism and push it down for fast, smooth setup. The collapsing function of the stand is just as easy by simply squeezing the leg lock mechanism and lifting. This design ensures a frustration-free experience during setup and disassembly. Instant Lock/Unlock Mechanism No more frustrating twisty-knobs. A patent-pending squeeze-button lock mechanism makes height adjustments easy with simple squeeze, lift, and release steps. All with tactile and audible feedback to ensure that the quick extension telescoping sections lock securely in place. The button system is not only fast, but each lock automatically reengages when released. Meaning a convenient auto-locking action to assist with one-handed height adjustments. Greater Stability With a minimum footprint diameter of 15.5" for tight spaces and a generous maximum footprint of 36", the stand provides excellent stability, whether in its narrowest or widest footprint configuration. Additionally, the MagStand 9 Pro prevents slipping thanks to its two-point rubberized feet. Each leg has two contact points for better stability. Its wide, low-profile base ensures safe operation on the most challenging surfaces. Built to Last Space black anodized aluminum construction offers durable support for lighting fixtures or accessories. When used as a monopole, you can also feel a subtle texture for improved hand grip. Another benefit is its stainless steel, precision-machined stud. This impact-resistant stand is extremely robust and stable without sacrificing aesthetic appeal to suit your style, space, and next shoot. Magnetic Leg Connector System A patent-pending magnetic leg connector system allows you to connect multiple MagStands together. Carry two or three MagStands in one hand with snap-and-lock simplicity using optional leg connectors. Magnets align it, the latch locks it, and one press releases it. You can even combine MagStands of different sizes. Additional Details Other highlights are the stand's patent-pending integrated leg channels for strong anchor points on each leg to securely attach accessories. Additionally, the stand has an integrated hook for hanging optional sandbags, small cases, or even your water bottle. With a travel-ready design, the light stand breaks down into a compact size to easily fit into your standard checked luggage.
