Check the printer's display and select the cleaning option. Once it powers up, insert the cleaning card into the hopper. Once it finishes, it will exit the printer. Turn the card over to the clean side to run it through again. It is recommended to use both sides of a cleaning card to thoroughly clear the internal components of any dust or debris. To clean the print head, open the printer and remove the dye ribbons. Gently run the cleaning swab across the length of the printhead to remove any residue. This will keep all images uniformly high quality and lengthen the printer's lifespan.
