Magic Butterfly Pea Tea

A magic, color changing tea known to spark vivid dreams. Butterfly Pea Flowers are regarded as a holy flower throughout India and traditionally used in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. The flowers from the Clitoria Ternatea plant have been consumed for centuries as a memory enhancer, brain booster, anti-stress and calmative agent. The deep blue hue shines through when steeped in water. Enjoy as an herbal tea, food coloring or a natural textile dye. Squeeze in a few drops of your favorite citrus to see the color change. When the PH is altered by acidity, the deep blue transforms into a rich and wonderful purple. Enjoy hot or over ice for a smooth, earthy tea.
