Magdalene Rose

This painting is inspired by the spirit of Mary Magdalene. Although we don't have a full picture of who Magdalene is, we do know from spiritual texts that she was a great visionary and teacher with clairvoyant abilities. Mary Magdalene in many ways is a rebel heart who encourages us to step up, speak our truth, and for those who feel the need to experience and teach the joy of spirit. The rose is a powerful symbol of Magdalene's lineage. It is associated with beauty, love, nature, creativity, and fertility. In ancient Greek and Roman mythology, it is believed that the Goddesses have scattered roses all over the Earth to celebrate the union of Psyche, the Goddess of the Soul, and Eros. This painting's exuberant colors and energetic brush strokes with powerful symbols are an encouragement for you to step in your own power and embody joy, beauty, and wisdom. Acrylic painting on canvas, all original paintings come with a certificate of authenticity. Size: 36" X 48" X 1.5" (unframed) Framing option is available.
