Madison Sailing Print

Sailing in Madison offers an incredible way to experience the beauty of the city’s lakes, particularly Lake Mendota, Lake Monona, and Lake Waubesa. With its scenic views, calm waters, and favorable winds, these lakes are popular destinations for both novice and experienced sailors. The expansive Lake Mendota, the largest of the three, is especially popular for sailing, providing plenty of room for leisurely cruises or more competitive regattas. The picturesque surroundings, including the Capitol building on the lakeshore and the University of Wisconsin campus, create a perfect backdrop for a relaxing day of sailing, whether you're enjoying the water solo or with friends.
