Percy Banquette Chestnut Leather

The Percy Banquette in Chestnut Leather by Made Goods draws its presence from an almost austere proportion, a low, linear form that reads as furniture rather than ornament. Woven full-grain leather wraps the seat in a warm chestnut tone, its surface catching light unevenly, the way natural material does. Beneath, polished teak wood frames the piece with clean lines and a subtle sheen that deepens over time. What distinguishes the Percy is how it occupies a room without demanding attention. Set against a kitchen island, it becomes an extension of the counter itself. Pulled into a living room corner, it functions as an unexpected perch, neither quite a bench nor a stool, but something more considered. The leather develops a patina with use, its creases and worn spots becoming a record of how the piece is actually lived with. The construction feels deliberate. The teak base sits flush and stable, while the woven leather seat offers a slight give that suggests comfort without softness. At this scale, the Percy works equally well as a single accent or grouped in pairs, its restrained silhouette allowing it to anchor a space without overwhelming it. This is furniture that improves with time, its materials aging gracefully rather than showing wear. The chestnut leather and warm wood tones pair naturally with neutral interiors and work equally well in spaces with deeper, richer palettes. The Percy rewards proximity, it's the kind of piece you notice more fully once you're sitting on it, understanding its proportions and craft from within the room itself.
