Kids' Macon 2.0 JR DVRT Snow Helmet

Bern's Macon 2.0 Jr DVRT Winter Helmet brings classic Bern style to the next generation of riders—lightweight, low-profile, and ready for winter laps. With DVRT impact protection, a cozy winter liner, and our signature skate-inspired shape, it’s built to keep kids comfortable and confident all season long. No gimmicks—just solid performance in a helmet they’ll actually want to wear. PRODUCT FEATURES: This helmet features sliding layers integrated to the interior of the pad system and reduces rotational impacts and acceleration. This added movement helps redirect energy away from the head — an extra layer of protection when things don’t go as planned. Increase your visibility when riding late with add-on rechargeable light that attaches to the back of your helmet. This helmet comes with the pads needed to convert from snow use to bike use. Simply remove the winter knit and place the warm weather padding in place. DVRT is Bern's proprietary energy management system. It utilizes five layers of patented sliding membranes that rotate in all directions during oblique impacts, helping to reduce rotational forces and enhance protection. RibTech is the EPS liner, re-engineered. Those ribbed channels built into the foam? They’re designed to compress on impact — like crumple zones for your dome. Absorbing force and spreading it out so your head doesn’t take the brunt. It’s lightweight, low-profile protection that works hard without looking like it’s trying.
