A 2.5" square keypad footprint with a round 1-1/4" inlet, plus a trimmed square cover to fit older openings for a clean look. Includes a free union to simplify piping changes during installation. Compatibility and installation notes This kit is designed for 120V operation. If your current setup is 240V, a conversion is required before installation to ensure safe, proper performance. In most cases, no plumbing modifications are needed—the pump’s plumbing connections are preserved, and the redesigned mount plus control box makes placement straightforward. For safety, plan a dedicated GFCI-protected circuit to power the system. Ideal use cases Homeowners with MAAX Acrylica tubs that have aged components or unreliable control hardware who want a quiet, dependable hot tub experience with adjustable jet power. Installers seeking a hassle-free replacement that minimizes downtime while delivering modern control features and extended spa life. Anyone aiming for consistent performance, improved energy efficiency, and a refreshed control interface without a full tub rebuild. Practical tips to maximize longevity Place the dedicated pump-and-control assembly on a stable base to minimize vibration and wear over time. Use the included union when adapting piping during the swap to ensure a snug, leak-free connection. Inspect electrical connections periodically and verify the 120V supply remains on a dedicated GFCI outlet. Remember that the old pump base will not fit the new unit—rely on the redesigned mount and compact control box for placement under the tub. Why choose this MAAX Acrylica Pump Control System Overhaul Kit Upgrading to this modern control system means you’ll enjoy reliable performance, precise jet control, and a streamlined installation all in one package. It’s specifically tailored for MAAX Acrylica tubs, delivering a refreshed, spa-quality experience without the guesswork of incompatible parts.
