M992

M992 miniature, representing the American Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicle (FAASV), developed to resupply the M109 self-propelled howitzer. Built on the same chassis as the M109, the M992 was designed to carry artillery ammunition, fuel, and supplies directly to the guns, ensuring rapid and efficient resupply under combat conditions. Enclosed for crew protection, it featured storage racks for shells, a conveyor system for quick transfer, and the ability to operate closely alongside artillery units. Entering service in the Cold War era, it became a vital support vehicle for U.S. and NATO artillery forces and continues to serve in modernized forms today. This model is ideal for Cold War and modern-era dioramas, wargaming scenery, or military vehicle collections in multiple scales. This is a fully assembled miniature model that requires no additional gluing or kit assembly. It arrives ready for use, featuring intricate details and precision modeling. It's printed as one unit and comes in the box ready for immediate use.
