M6C UART2 LCD E-Bike Display Computer

The M6C is a wired LCD display and odometer used on electric bikes that operate on a UART2 communication protocol. It provides real-time ride data and system status while drawing power directly from the e-bike system—no internal battery required. This display is typically used as a replacement for a damaged unit or when restoring full functionality on e-bikes that already use a compatible UART2 controller. Key Features • LCD display with speed, trip, and total distance readouts • Battery level indicator and system status display • Assist level display with PAS support • Headlight control indicator • Boost and walk mode support (controller-dependent) • Error code display for system diagnostics • USB-powered operation (no internal battery) Compatibility & Use Notes • Communication protocol: UART2 • Supported system voltages: 24V / 36V / 48V / 60V • USB input: 5V / 500mA • Fits handlebars: 22.2mm / 25.4mm / 28.6mm / 31.8mm • Wired display—connector and pin layout must match controller • Not compatible with CAN-bus systems • Not universal—protocol and connector must be verified before installation Service / Ownership Context If the display shows an E10 error, this typically indicates a communication issue. Common causes include a protocol mismatch between the display and controller, or a system-level fault involving the controller, motor, or control inputs. Always confirm UART compatibility and connector pinout before installation, and test the system with the bike powered but stationary. Fit & Use Signals • Good fit if your e-bike uses a UART2-compatible controller • Good fit for replacing a failed or damaged display • Good fit for riders who want detailed ride and system data • Not a fit for CAN-bus controller systems • Not a fit if connector or communication protocol does not match
