The real-world XM series has produced some of the most iconic American weapons — from the XM16E1 (the precursor to the M16) to the XM307 Advanced Crew Served Weapon program. The "smart gun" concept — a heavy support weapon with advanced electronic aiming and fire control integrated into the weapon body — draws from real R&D efforts including the US Army's Objective Individual Combat Weapon program and NATO's pursuit of smart munitions. The XM-1177 brings that speculative near-future heavy firepower to the 1/12 scale battlefield. 3D printed products may require minor post-processing. Support remnants, layer lines, or slight surface variations are normal and can be cleaned up with a hobby knife, needle files, or light sanding. Final appearance may vary slightly depending on printer settings and material used.
