Designed with an enhanced steel fragmentation body, the M111 produces a more consistent and lethal fragment pattern on detonation. It saw evaluation and use by US Army and Special Operations forces as a direct successor concept to the standard frag grenade family, intended for close-quarters combat, trench clearing, and room entry where a reliable casualty radius is critical. 3D printed products may require minor post-processing. Support remnants, layer lines, or slight surface variations are normal and can be cleaned up with a hobby knife, needle files, or light sanding.
