M-Tac Map Compass Mirror (Small)

Effective navigation is critical for military personnel and serious outdoor adventurers. In such cases, a reliable map compass is essential for successful orientation in the field when used in conjunction with a map. The M-Tac Map Compass operates on the fundamental principle of interaction between its built-in permanent magnets and the Earth's magnetic field, ensuring its needles consistently point North and South under all circumstances. This model is a classic, compact map-reading compass featuring a sighting mirror. The clear, transparent base plate allows users to read map information directly through the compass base while navigating. For convenient map work and plotting, parallel lines are printed directly onto the compass body. Crucially, this small model also includes a magnifying glass (loupe), aiding in the detailed reading of small map features and text. The mirror enables you to simultaneously sight a distant bearing and view the compass capsule, ensuring highly accurate readings while setting or following an azimuth. For ease of use and retention, the compass is also equipped with a lanyard. This compact compass is an indispensable tool for precise land navigation.
