Lysine (Su-Per)

78.8% pure L-Lysine in powder form. One scoop provides 3 grams. Lysine is an essential amino acid (building block of protein) that must be in the diet since horses are not able to produce it on their own. Their need is increased by growth, heavy exercise or training, or a compromised immune system. Herpes infections and head shaking may be helped by added lysine.
