Tether Station Kit (LYKT2) from Energy Safety Supply offers a comprehensive and efficient solution for purging air, moisture, and debris from pipes before critical processes like welding or brazing. Why Choose the 53 Pc. Tether Station Kit (LYKT2)? Complete Purging System: This kit includes all the essential components for effective pipe purging. It features two tandem purge bladders designed to inflate on both sides of the pipe, creating a positive pressure zone that effectively expels contaminants from the weld zone. Additional components like plugs, dust caps, and air fittings ensure a complete and versatile purging system. Enhanced Safety and FME Compliance: The tethered design of the purge bladders minimizes the risk of accidental loss within the pipe. This promotes safety and adheres to FME (Foreign Material Exclusion) regulations by preventing retrieval attempts that could compromise the purged state of the pipe. Versatility for Various Pipe Sizes: The kit includes a variety of purge bladders and dust caps to accommodate a range of pipe diameters. This allows you to tackle different purging projects without needing to purchase additional components for each size. Durable Construction for Long-Lasting Use: The purge bladders are crafted from high-strength polyurethane-coated nylon, ensuring they can withstand the demands of repeated use in industrial environments. Other components in the kit are also constructed from durable materials for long-lasting performance. Cost-Effective Purging Solution: Compared to alternative purging methods, using a dedicated purge kit can be more cost-effective. The reusable bladders and components minimize replacement costs, while the efficient purging process reduces the risk of rework due to contaminated welds. Simplified System Setup: The kit includes everything you need to get started with pipe purging.
