ABOUT MARINE LAYER Marine Layer started in San Francisco with an obsession with fabric — specifically, finding materials so soft you'd never want to take them off. Today, the brand is a Certified B Corp known for blending natural and low-impact fibers like TENCEL™ lyocell, organic cotton, and hemp into easy, unfussy clothing that's built to last. Their Re-Spun program takes back old garments and turns them into something new, because they believe the most sustainable piece of clothing is one you actually keep wearing. Less than 0.5% of apparel brands hold B Corp certification — Marine Layer earned theirs in 2022.
