Luxe Basketball Display Case | 98% UV Acrylic Case for Autographed Basketballs

Finally, a display that’s worthy of the object inside. A signed basketball is one of the most collected items by sports enthusiasts. But many end up on a closet shelf, or on a wire ring stand that looks like it came out of a trophy shop, or worse — back in the bin with the practice balls. The Wexel Art Luxe Basketball Display Case treats it the way a gallery would treat a sculpture. A single crystal-clear acrylic cube rests on a luxe 1½″ slab of clear acrylic, machined rather than molded, diamond polished on all four edges. Inside, the ball seats on a low recessed collar that holds it a few millimeters off the base and keeps the signature facing exactly where you set it. Minimal, modern, and quiet enough that the basketball or object becomes the center of attention. At 11½ inches square, it sits comfortably on a credenza, a bookcase shelf, a bar back, or a partner desk — displayed at eye level, in the room, rather than stored. 98% UV Protection Luxe Acrylic 10× Stronger Than Glass Lifetime Warranty Details that separate it from a plastic cube 98% UV-blocking acrylic. Marker ink on composite leather is one of the least stable things a collector can own. Conservation-grade UV filtering slows the fade that turns a bold signature into a ghost of one. A luxe 1½″ thick acrylic base. An inch and a half of optically clear framing grade acrylic under a full-size ball gives the piece real heft and a bright, polished base. A recessed collar. The ball rests in a low clear collar machined into the base, holding it just above the surface. Rotate the ball to put the signature or the panel logo forward, then leave it — the collar keeps it there. Luxe acrylic, 10× stronger than glass. Shatter-resistant and about half the weight of glass — the right answer for a high shelf, a kid’s room, or a case that will be picked up and handed around. Lift-off cover, no hardware. The cube lifts straight off. No screws, no clips, no assembly instructions, nothing to lose. Dust-sealed on all six sides. A fully enclosed cube on a flat machined base, so nothing settles into the pebbling or the channel seams. Sized for a full-size ball. Fits an official size 7 basketball with clearance to spare — no compression, no forcing the cover down. Lifetime warranty. Backed by Wexel Art for as long as you own it. A signed ball from a player who mattered. The ball from a senior night, still carrying every name on the roster in silver marker. A retirement gift for a coach who spent twenty seasons in the same gym. These are not shelf-clutter objects, yet they have been treated like clutter for decades. Because the geometry is a simple cube on a clear base, a basketball, a football, or a soccer ball side by side read as a considered collection rather than a pile of sports gear — which is why our designers specify them for game rooms, studies, offices, and children’s rooms where the client still wants the room to look polished. Care Dust with a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth. Never use ammonia-based glass cleaner or paper towels on acrylic — both will scratch it. Part of the Wexel Art Sports Display Cases collection — also available for football, baseball, and soccer.
