The engagement ring Cradles the 5 x 10 mm marquise-cut blue sandstone in a moon-and-stars setting — the focal point and statement piece of the set. The matching band A slender starlit band that nests alongside the engagement ring to complete the cosmic silhouette. Lovely stacked or worn on its own. The blue sandstone and sapphire accents The marquise center is a deep blue sandstone — blue goldstone — whose glittering copper flecks resemble stars scattered across a dark night, the very effect that gives the set its name. Sparkling blue sapphire accents punctuate the band, adding a regal, jewel-toned shimmer that deepens the midnight palette. You will find the same considered craftsmanship across our sapphire jewelry, and if you are drawn to blue stones, our aquamarine vs sapphire engagement ring guide compares the tones beautifully. Solid sterling silver with a rhodium finish The set is crafted in solid 925 sterling silver and finished with rhodium — the same precious metal used on fine white gold. That rhodium layer gives both rings a bright, mirror-white luster and adds a protective shield that helps resist tarnish and everyday scratches, keeping the silver looking freshly polished. It is the detail that lets a sterling silver set wear like something far more expensive. What the design symbolizes The moon and stars speak to serenity, wisdom and a love as boundless as the cosmos, while sapphire has stood for loyalty and faithful devotion for centuries. Together they make this set a meaningful choice for the starry-eyed dreamer and the couple who feel written in the stars. It is sold as a two-piece set — a moon-and-stars engagement ring holding the marquise sandstone center, plus a matching band that nests alongside it. The band can also be worn on its own. What is the center stone? A 5 x 10 mm marquise-cut blue sandstone, also known as blue goldstone, whose glittering copper flecks resemble stars against a deep blue sky. What are the accent stones? Blue sapphire accents set along the band. They add a regal, jewel-toned sparkle that deepens the midnight-blue palette of the design. What cut is the center stone? A marquise cut — an elongated, pointed oval that stretches light across the finger for an elegant, eye-lengthening effect. Why is it called a starry-night set? The glittering sandstone resembles stars scattered across a dark sky, and the moon-and-stars band draws inspiration from the Great Rift nebula — a celestial, cosmos-inspired design. What metal is it made from? Solid 925 sterling silver, finished with rhodium for a bright white luster and extra protection against tarnish and scratches. What does the rhodium finish do? Rhodium is the same precious metal used to finish fine white gold. It gives the silver a mirror-bright shine and adds a protective layer that keeps the rings looking freshly polished. Will it turn my finger green? No. Because it is genuine 925 sterling silver with a rhodium finish, it is tarnish-resistant and will not leave green marks the way low-quality metals can. Is it suitable as an engagement ring? Absolutely. It makes a unique engagement ring, a meaningful promise ring or a memorable anniversary gift for anyone drawn to celestial jewelry. How wide is the band? The band measures approximately 1.7 mm, keeping the set comfortable and elegant for everyday wear. Can it be engraved? Yes. You can add a personal engraving of up to 16 characters at checkout — a date, initials or a short message. Engraved pieces are final sale, so please double-check spelling. What size should I order? Select your ring size at checkout. If you are unsure or between sizes, contact us for guidance. Resizing is available and starts from a modest fee. Does it arrive gift-ready? Every order ships in a free luxury velvet gift box and is backed by our lifetime warranty — ready for a proposal or to give as a keepsake.
