Luminora Light

The Moooi Luminora Light by Cristina Celestino takes inspiration from the grandeur of Murano glass and the mathematical perfection of the golden ratio, creating this floating sculpture that somehow manages to look both ancient and completely futuristic. The transparent polycarbonate tubes form perfect circles with this mesmerizing V-shaped diamond pattern that catches and refracts light in ways that make you stop and stare. What's brilliant about the design is how the structure itself becomes the light source - there's no bulb hidden inside, just these elegant LED tubes that distribute warm, even illumination in a full 360-degree radius. The effect is this ethereal glow that feels like the fixture is generating light from within rather than simply housing it. The technical execution is what makes this concept work beautifully in real spaces rather than just looking impressive in galleries. Available in two sizes - 45cm and 63cm diameter - you can use them individually for intimate spaces or create stunning clusters for dramatic impact in larger rooms. The LED technology delivers excellent color rendering with a CRI over 95, so everything looks natural and vibrant under its light. The fixture comes fully assembled with champagne-finished brackets that add subtle elegance without competing with the main event. Compatible with multiple dimming systems including the wireless wall switch, you can adjust the ambiance instantly from bright task lighting to soft ambient glow perfect for evening entertaining. Moooi approaches lighting design from the Netherlands with a philosophy that beautiful objects should challenge expectations while solving real lighting needs in contemporary spaces. The collaboration between Cristina Celestino's poetic vision and Moooi's technical innovation represents the brand's commitment to creating pieces that work as both functional lighting and sculptural art. Through meticulous attention to detail in engineering and finishing, they've created a fixture that enhances residential, hospitality, and commercial projects with timeless elegance that adapts to any style - from ultra-modern minimalist spaces to classical interiors where the Luminora's baroque-inspired patterns feel completely at home.
