Lumin P2

The Definitive Music Hub Integrating flagship-tier digital and analogue stages, the LUMIN P2 serves as an uncompromised centrepiece for all audio sources. Why LUMIN P2 Building on the multi-award-winning foundation of P1, LUMIN P2 establishes a new reference for Lumin's 'Network Music Hub' family. By combining our latest high-capacity processor with a flagship Dual ES9038PRO DAC stage, we've increased both processing headroom and precision. This increased precision is supported by a dual-toroidal power supply and Lundahl output transformers, providing the high-current, isolated foundation required to maintain signal integrity from input to output. It is the definitive 'all-in-one'. A world-class streamer, DAC, and pre-amplifier in a single, uncompromised chassis. Main features LUMIN P2 makes system integration easier than ever: 9 digital & analogue inputs USB digital audio input & output support up to Native DSD512 Balanced & unbalanced analogue inputs SPDIF & AES input support up to 192/24 & DoP HDMI 2.0 inputs & 4K passthrough with ARC support Specified for exceptional musical performance: New processor delivers native DSD512 & PCM384 playback Dual Mono design throughout maximises channel separation Dual ES9038PRO SABRE DACs in Mono mode Femto Clock System with precision FPGA distribution New integrated dual-toroidal linear power supply & all-in-one chassis Fibre Network provides complete isolation from network digital noise Leedh Processing lossless volume control 9 digital & analogue inputs P2 features a total of 9 inputs provide enough flexibility for any audio or video stereo system: USB Industry-leading XMOS USB audio controller Native DSD512 and PCM384 compatible Windows 10 & Mac OS compatibility Analogue Balanced and Unbalanced analogue input LEEDH volume processing Passthrough function for home cinema integration with custom naming functionaity SPDIF/AES DoP64 / 192 kHz 24-bit compatible TOSLINK, SPDIF (RCA), AES inputs HDMI HDMI 2.0 Specification compatible Supports 2.0 PCM audio decoding HDR, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS passthrough ARC compatible output ARC CEC volume and mute control X-Series Heritage LUMIN P2 inherits the core engineering found in our flagship series, combining high-performance digital architecture with our most refined analogue stages. Dual ESS SABRE ES9038PRO LUMIN P2 utilizes these top-of-the-range 32-bit, 8-channel DAC chips in a dual-mono configuration. By dedicating a flagship-tier DAC to each channel, we maximize hardware precision and processing headroom. This represents our most advanced implementation of the SABRE platform, providing a robust digital foundation for the entire system. Output Buffer Design The fully balanced dual-mono analogue output stage features the same Lundahl transformers found in our top-tier players. This design has been a cornerstone of every flagship LUMIN model, ensuring maximum signal isolation and integrity. Dual-toroidal Power Supply The generous P2 chassis allows us to bring the X-series specification toroids inboard for a streamlined, single-box installation. This layout retains all the performance benefits of separate analogue and digital power rails while achieving a cleaner, more integrated aesthetic. Included Remote Control Our tactile infrared remote control allows easy change of input, volume adjustment, playlist navigation and more. The exceptionally well-constructed acrylic and zinc LUMIN remote is made in Austria and is entirely Roon Ready. The infrared receiver built in to LUMIN P2 is compatible with universal remote controls, phones and automation systems. Flexible setup options Use as a streamer, a DAC, a pre-amplifier or all three! Option 1 - Streaming DAC LUMIN P2 can be used like all other LUMIN players. With its ES9038PRO DAC chips, DSD512/PCM384 support, Femto Clock System, Fibre Networking, toroidal power supply, and Leedh Processing, P2 is second only to LUMIN X2 in pure streaming ability. Option 2 - Hi-Fi Hub Connect all your stereo sources to LUMIN P2 and attach a power amplifier and you've got everything you need for an incredible music system. Option 3 - 2-channel TV System No need for an AV Receiver. Simply attach your HDMI sources to LUMIN P2 and P2 to your TV. With HDMI ARC, all your audio comes through your main speakers. The perfect partnership Pairing LUMIN P2 with the LUMIN Amp creates a streamlined, ultra-high-performance audio system. By eliminating a traditional pre-amplifier, you remove an entire stage of electronics that often adds noise and coloration, bringing you closer to the original recording. Leedh Processing lossless volume control ensures that even at low listening levels, your music retains its full dynamic range and detail, making a separate analogue pre-amp redundant. Use LUMIN P2 as your system's hub to manage nine digital and analogue inputs, with seamless switching through the Lumin App The LUMIN Amp's high input impedance is specifically designed to be driven directly by LUMIN sources, maximizing the transparency of LUMIN P2’s dual-mono DAC design. Latest processing system LUMIN P2 features our latest processing platform, providing a significant increase in capacity and resampling flexibility. This extra headroom allows for more flexible upsampling options for every supported format and ensures that P2 is future-ready for years of firmware enhancements.
