Lumber Wizard 5 + Little Wizard 2.5 Bundle

Lumber Wizard 5 + Little Wizard 2.5 Bundle Complete Metal Detection Coverage for Your Shop One hidden nail can shatter a carbide blade in an instant. This bundle gives you two purpose-built tools — the Lumber Wizard 5 and the Little Wizard 2.5 — to scan every piece of lumber before it reaches your blades. Together, they cover every situation: wide boards, narrow stock, edges, beams, reclaimed lumber, and pallet wood. Both detectors are made in the USA by Wizard Industries, Inc. — the original creators of woodworking metal detection since 1999. Lumber Wizard 5 — Wide Coverage with Laser Pinpointing The Wizard 5 is your primary scanning tool. Its 5" wide scan area covers full-width boards quickly, and when it detects metal, the laser line indicator projects directly onto the wood surface — telling you exactly where to extract, not just that something is there. Automatic 5-second tuning — ready to use in seconds, every time Laser line pinpointing — precise location, not just a general alert LED + audible dual alerts — clear detection feedback in any shop environment 5" scan width — fast coverage on wide lumber, beams, and slabs 15" long · 13 oz · 9V battery · 1-year warranty Little Wizard 2.5 — Compact Precision for Tight Spaces The Little Wizard 2.5 is your precision tool. Its angled detection head gets into edges, narrow boards, trim, and tight corners where the Wizard 5 can't reach. The LED bar graph gives instant visual feedback, and the enhanced audio alert (new in 2.5) is louder and clearer for noisy shop environments. Angled detection head — scans edges and tight spaces with ease LED bar graph — instant visual signal strength feedback Louder audio alert — new in version 2.5, audible even with hearing protection Fine-tuning adjustment — dial in sensitivity for your environment Lightweight one-handed design — fast, effortless scanning at any station How to Use This Bundle Learn all about using a Little Wizard and a Lumber Wizard here. Use the Wizard 5 to do a fast primary scan of each board, covering the full width in overlapping passes. When the Wizard 5 alerts, use the laser line to mark the exact spot. Follow up with the Little Wizard 2.5 to double-check edges and narrow areas, or to confirm after metal removal. Re-scan before final cuts. Battery Note Always use a fresh, high-quality 9-volt battery in both detectors. Sensitivity drops as battery power decreases — a weak battery is the most common cause of missed detections and false readings. Scan it. Find it. Remove it. Cut with confidence.
