☢️ Ludlum Model 9 Ion Chamber Survey Meter 0-5 mR/hr analog face | Four range multipliers up to 5 R/hr | Calibrated | Hard-sided case | Complete paperwork | 1 year functional guarantee This listing is for one used Ludlum Model 9 ion chamber survey meter supplied with batteries, a hard-sided carrying case, and the calibration and service paperwork for the instrument delivered. The Model 9 uses an integral ion chamber. No separate detector probe or probe cable is required. It is intended for gamma and X-ray exposure-rate surveys within its configured range. Serial number, calibration dates, cosmetic condition, case, and paperwork will correspond to the instrument assigned to the order. Representative photos may be used when several comparable units are available, but the exact assigned instrument will be documented before shipment. 🔬 Range and Meter Face The analog face is marked 0-5 mR/hr and is read together with the four-position range selector: X1: 0-5 mR/hr X10: 0-50 mR/hr X100: 0-500 mR/hr X1000: 0-5 R/hr The selected range, measurement geometry, radiation energy, shielding, and calibration conditions all matter when interpreting a reading. This instrument measures exposure rate within its calibrated response; it does not identify an isotope or determine what material is producing the radiation. ✅ Calibration and Service Each instrument offered through this listing will be supplied with current calibration paperwork identifying the meter delivered, calibration date, due date, and completed scope. The calibration paperwork supplied with the meter will document the applicable ranges, calibration date, due date, and completed scope. Each meter is inspected and serviced as needed before shipment. Any documented service applicable to the instrument delivered will be included with its paperwork. 📦 What Is Included One Ludlum Model 9 ion chamber survey meter Batteries One hard-sided carrying case Calibration certificate for the exact serialized meter All service and test paperwork supplied with that instrument 1 year functional guarantee No radioactive source, check source, or radioactive demonstration material is included. 📷 Condition These are used professional instruments and may show normal cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs, paint wear, small marks, or signs of prior service.
