At just 16 years old, she began teaching and quickly recognized the unfair wage gap between men and women doing the same work. Rather than accepting the status quo, Lucy dedicated her life to advocating for equality and expanding opportunities for future generations.  A gifted speaker, abolitionist, and suffragist, she became one of the most influential voices in the women's rights movement. Her courage and determination helped pave the way for many of the rights women enjoy today. Like its namesake, the Lucy Zipper Pouch is a reminder that one person can make a lasting impact.  Suede Care Suggestions: Before wearing, treat your item with a suede protector spray to help guard against water and stains. Suede is sensitive to moisture, so if it gets wet, blot gently with a clean cloth and let it air dry naturally—avoid heat or direct sunlight. For tougher marks, a suede eraser or a light application of white vinegar or rubbing alcohol can help (always test in a hidden spot first). When not in use, store your suede piece in a cool, dry place using a dust bag or breathable cover, and maintain shape with stuffing or shoe trees. Avoid plastic bags and oily surfaces to preserve the suede’s texture and finish.
