LUCCA A53 Pro Espresso Machine

The LUCCA A53 Pro is a dual boiler prosumer espresso machine that refuses to compromise. Designed by Clive Coffee and built on La Spaziale's commercial foundation, it's the first A53 that switches between reservoir and direct plumbing without tools or downtime. That means you can start with tank water in your kitchen and plumb in later when you're ready—or move the machine between locations without rethinking your entire setup. It's the machine small cafés, coffee carts, and serious home baristas have been waiting for: commercial reliability, residential flexibility, and none of the bulk. Under the hood: independent steam and brew boilers with PID control, a rotary pump for whisper-quiet operation and adjustable pre-infusion (in plumbed mode), and a 53mm commercial group head that now accepts a triple basket for the first time. Increased cup clearance accommodates scales and tall glassware. Integrated brew lights and a shot timer keep your workflow visible and repeatable. Adjustable steam pressure lets you dial in microfoam tension for oat milk, whole milk, or anything in between. Volumetric dosing keeps shots consistent, whether you're pulling two or twenty. Key Features Dual boiler system: Independent brew and steam boilers mean zero wait time between milk and espresso Rotary pump: Quieter operation, adjustable pre-infusion in plumbed mode, and gentler pressure profiling than vibratory pumps Switchable water source: Use the internal reservoir or plumb directly into a water line—no complex tools, no permanent commitment. In order to plumb in your machine, you need the LUCCA A53 Pro Direct Plumb Kit (sold separately).  PID temperature control: Dial in brew temperature to 0.1°C and hold it there, shot after shot Commercial 53mm group head: Saturated design for thermal stability; now accepts triple baskets for high-dose enthusiasts Integrated shot timer and brew lights: Track extraction time and workflow at a glance Adjustable steam pressure: Fine-tune milk texture for different dairy and plant-based options Increased cup clearance: Fits a scale and your favorite cups, with ample space. Volumetric dosing: Program shot volume and let the machine stop automatically—perfect for consistency under pressure 20-amp mode available: Faster heat-up and recovery when plugged into a 20-amp circuit Drainable drip tray: Optional via our LUCCA A53 Pro Direct Plumb Kit if you want the convenience of never having to dump your drip tray Ideal For Home baristas at any skill level who want a machine they won't outgrow. Small cafés, coffee carts, food trucks, and offices that need commercial durability without the size or power requirements of a multi-group machine. The A53 Pro thrives in low-to medium-volume environments where reliability and flexibility matter more than sheer throughput. Anyone planning to plumb in eventually, but not today. Start with the reservoir, plumb in when you're ready. The A53 Pro is the only machine in its class that makes that transition seamless. If you want consistent shots, professional steam control, and a machine built to last decades—not years—the LUCCA A53 Pro is the last espresso machine you'll need to buy.
