LT Trail Runner Elite Kit

Description Upgrade your off-road experience with the Dirt King LT Trail Runner Kit, a comprehensive solution for transforming your vehicle into a high-performance off-road machine while maintaining on-road comfort and reliability. This expertly designed system optimizes suspension travel, tire clearance, and durability with precision-engineered components tailored for the Toyota Tacoma. This kit adds 2” of width per side, allowing for more than a 30% increase in suspension travel while still being compatible with stock fenders. Check out the "what's included" tab for more information on all the products included in this kit. Specifications Front Wheel Travel: Up to 11.5" Rear Wheel Travel: Up to 13" Amount of Lift: 0-3.5” Track Width: 2” wider per side Maximum Tire Size: 35” Maximum Backspacing: 4.75” Minimum Rim Size: 16” Coilover Shock Size: Dirt King Spec Coilovers Bump Stop Size: 2.0” x 2.0” 4WD To achieve the full amount of travel on 4WD models you must install the 1” diff drop kit and machine the inner CV’s for more articulation. We offer several services for machining CV’s and complete axle assembly. Shocks For the best performance and to achieve the full amount of travel you must purchase our spec built shocks or have them custom built based on our coil over spec sheet. You may also use Tacoma OEM replacement coil overs (Dirt King, King, Fox, Icon) with 1.5” wide lower eyelet spacers with ½” mounting holes, to achieve desired ride height you may need to increase preload or go to a higher spring rate. For the OEM replacement coil overs to achieve proper collapse length you will want to run a 3/8" spacer. These shocks will work but limit the amount of wheel travel. The OEM replacement coil overs include reservoir mounts that may not be compatible with our double shear kit option. Our long travel kit is also tabbed to accommodate bypass shocks. The bypass shocks will allow for superior suspension dampening and tunability. To mount the bypasses we offer a weld on bypass shock hoop kit (DK-811710) that can be purchased separately. The bypass shock hoop kit requires welding and modifications to the frame. For extreme off-roading the kit has the ability to accept bump stops or bypass along with the coil overs. The use of bump stops will also require welding and modifications to the frame. What's Included • +2" Long Travel Kit: Enhances off-road performance with an additional 2" width per side, supporting 35" tires and increasing suspension travel by over 25%. • Alignment Cam Gussets: Reinforced chromoly plates prevent alignment issues caused by bent factory cam tabs, ensuring long-lasting stability. • Upper Arm Double Shear Kit: The upper arm double shear kit strengthens the coil bucket to the frame and reduces stress on the upper arm bolts. • Spindle Gussets: The factory Toyota spindles commonly bend during extreme off-road use. Our spindle gussets solve this issue by reinforcing the problematic areas. • Body Mount Relocation: Maximizes tire clearance, eliminating restrictions from stock mounts and enabling proper fitment of 35” tires. • +2" Long Travel Spec King Coilovers: Custom-tuned King Spec coilovers to deliver superior performance for both off-road adventures and daily drivability. • King 2.5 x 12 Smooth Body Shocks | Remote Reservoir: These rear shocks are specifically designed to optimize off-road performance without compromising on-road handling. • Shock Relocation Kit: Increases shock stroke by 50%, improving articulation and maximizing rear suspension travel. • 1" Differential Drop Kit (4WD): Lowers the front differential by 1", reducing CV angles to protect drivetrain components on lifted vehicles or those with long-travel suspensions. • Shackle & Hanger Kit: Enhances geometry and strength, achieving 13" of travel with leaf springs while resisting deflection under heavy loads. • Deaver U402 Springs & Hardware: A higher leaf count spring allows the use of thinner leaf material that yields a more flexible progressive leaf stack, or pyramid, producing a much smoother spring rate curve throughout the complete suspension cycle. • Axle Assemblies (4WD) • Forged 1.5" Wheel Spacers • All Necessary Mounting Hardware • Dirt King Sticker Pack • Installation Instructions Features 2” Wider Per Side: Adds 2” of width per side, boosting suspension travel by 25%. Stock Fender Compatibility: Works with stock fenders when using positive offset wheels. Aggressive Look Option: Supports zero or negative offset wheels with flared fenders. Extended Wheelbase: Allows proper fitment of 35” tires. SilentSpin Bushings: Greaseless bushings in upper control arms for low maintenance. Delrin Bushings with PTFE: Smooth operation in lower control arms with PTFE-infused Delrin. Heavy-Duty Moog Ball Joints: Reliable outer pivots with heavy-duty Moog ball joints. Aluminum Skid Plates: Replaceable skid plates protect lower arms on rough trails. Flexible Installation: Compatible with coilovers, coilovers with bypasses, or coilovers with bump stops. Aluminum Strike Pads: Designed for optimal bump stop engagement. Complete Hardware Included: Comes with all necessary mounting hardware. Made in the USA: Proudly designed and manufactured in the United States.
