4 Sizes Flanged New Construction Plate | Luxrite LR41002

Streamline your rough-in installation workflow and achieve absolute precision in your recessed downlight layouts with the Universal New Construction Mounting Plate. Fabricated from high-grade galvanized steel, this robust structural component (Item Number: LR41002) provides a secure, permanent framework across ceiling layouts before sheetrock or drywall is hung. By establishing fixed, immoveable cutout boundaries ahead of time, it completely eliminates post-drywall measuring errors, ensures perfectly straight multi-fixture alignments, and protects structural framing from accidental layout cuts. The hallmark of the LR41002 is its incredible multi-size adaptability. Featuring an advanced universal design footprint (Product Description: MP-UNV-3/4/6), the plate is engineered with three concentric, pre-scored circular templates. This allows installation crews to instantly expand or punch out the center opening on-site to match the exact cutout dimensions of three primary fixture classes: 3-Inch Cutout Configuration 4-Inch Cutout Configuration 6-Inch Cutout Configuration With a highly versatile layout profile measuring 7.62 inches in length, 12 inches in width, and a structural height of 1 inch, this mounting plate effortlessly bridges compact residential wood joists or commercial metal tracking grids. Its durable galvanized finish offers excellent resistance to corrosion, rust, and jobsite wear. By giving drywall crews a definitive physical edge to cut against, it drastically accelerates final trimming phases and secures a flawless, gap-free product finish. Key Features: 3-in-1 Universal Radial Openings: Simplified pre-scored layout adapts on-the-fly to the industry's most common 3", 4", or 6" round downlight cuts. Corrosion-Resistant Galvanized Steel: Heavy-duty, rigid steel core keeps the structural template flat and prevents twisting under jobsite pressure. Accelerated Project Turnaround: Simplifies pre-drywall planning, saving layout crew hours and minimizing drywall patching errors. Rigid Form Factor: Robust 1-inch height profile provides enhanced structural stability across the ceiling framing.
