3 Inch Interlocking Trimless Mesh Replacement Plate | Trimlux Collection | Luxrite LR25486

Ensure a flawless, structurally sound drywall installation for your architectural lighting layouts with the 3" Interlocking Trimless Square Mesh Replacement Plate. Identified by product code LR25486 (Ordering Code: LED/ITLMD3/SQ/MESH), this crucial structural mud-in flange is engineered specifically for the 3" Interlocking Trimless Square LED downlight family (such as the LR25485 high-output module). Finished in a clean, protective white coating, this precision mesh adapter provides the essential structural bonding surface required to compound, tape, and plaster a 3-inch square downlight completely flush into a sheetrock ceiling, achieving a premium, borderless architectural look. Measuring exactly 7.08" in length by 7.08" in width, the plate features a dedicated 3.93" x 3.93" square cutout aperture designed to frame the matching fixture housing perfectly. The perforated outer mesh wings allow drywall joint compound to key deeply through the plate's structural openings, locking the mounting assembly firmly to the ceiling substrate. This heavy-duty interlocking mesh grid handles localized ceiling vibrations and seasonal thermal expansion, effectively protecting the surrounding plaster from cosmetic spiderweb cracking, flaking, or lifting away from the raw aperture edge over time. Engineered for Clean High-Volume Architectural Installations: Constructed out of low-profile, high-strength rigid steel alloys, this plaster-in mesh plate ensures the raw ceiling plane remains flat without introducing unwanted bulges or high spots during the taping phase. This dedicated, exact-fit replacement component allows residential drywallers, commercial electrical crews, and hospitality project managers to replace damaged frames or prepare extensive multi-light layouts with total structural confidence. Key Features: Tailored 3" Interlocking Integration: Tailored precisely to lock with 3" square interlocking trimless recessed lighting modules and ceiling templates. Perforated Plaster Mud-In Ring: Perforated layout allows joint compounds to flow smoothly through the plate, creating a high-strength permanent bond. Anti-Cracking Structural Framework: Disperses localized ceiling vibrations and thermal stress to prevent cosmetic sheetrock cracking along the square edge. Flawless Low-Profile Depth: Thin, rigid structure sits flat against standard drywall sheets, minimizing the compound feathering distance needed for a flat finish. Architectural Plaster Reinforcement: Simplifies the mud-in process for finishing crews, ensuring clean 90-degree corners and a completely borderless finish.
