LR Baggs AEG-1 - Sunburst

Best known for its industry-leading acoustic-electric pickups, LR Baggs dives headfirst into the world of guitar manufacturing with the AEG-1. And the results come as no surprise. The AEG-1 is a superior stage instrument that blends the best bits of traditional acoustic craftsmanship and state-of-the-art amplification. This guitar begins with an ultra-responsive solid Sitka spruce top and a solid rosewood back inset into the guitar's poplar composite back and sides. Fit with scalloped X-bracing and an integrated neck support structure, the AEG-1 supplies an extraordinarily rich and responsive unplugged tone compared to its thin, comfortable width. A fast-playing mahogany neck in a Performance profile joins the body, along with a deep cutaway that provides you access to all 20 of the Indian rosewood fingerboard's frets. It's no surprise that LR Baggs outfit this instrument with their top-of-the-line HiFi Duet electronics system, comprising a Silo microphone, HiFi bridge plate pickups, and a premium HiFi Duet preamp. This utterly uncompromising system authentically captures the AEG-1 down to the finest detail. To complete the package, the HiFi Duet system provides you with Volume/Mix/Tone controls, a Phase switch, mic trim adjust, and a battery level gauge to grant complete control over your tone onstage. When it comes to acoustic pickups, LR Baggs is revered as a leading choice among Sweetwater guitarists. Now, the company's acoustic-electric expertise has entered an entirely new realm of excellence with the AEG-1.
