Low Adhesive Tapes

Fibre Glast offers blue tape and a duct tape in a low residue form to aid in composite fabrication. Whether it is to hold down fabrics or bagging materials and heat blankets, the duct tape and blue tape offer a temporary hold that leaves little residue behind. Features: Provides temporary hold: Low residue tape provides a strong and reliable temporary hold, making it useful for securing materials in place during composite layup or assembly. It can hold components together securely without the need for permanent fasteners, allowing for easy repositioning if necessary. Versatility: Low residue tape is versatile and can be used for a variety of applications in composite fabrication. It can be used to hold down reinforcement materials such as fiberglass cloth or carbon fiber fabric, secure vacuum bagging materials in place, or temporarily seal vacuum bagging film around the perimeter of a mold. Residue Prevention: The low residue characteristic of the tape ensures that it can be removed cleanly without leaving behind adhesive residue on the composite surface. This is particularly important in composite fabrication, where any residue left behind could interfere with subsequent processes such as bonding, painting, or finishing.
