Love Notes & Soft Curves

After escaping the grip of a toxic relationship, Brina Simmons is determined to rebuild her life, piece by piece. Between her blossoming career at Jourdain’s Bridal and the comfort of the shared condo her cousin Lorielle’s fiancé, Mike, bought for them, Brina is finally starting to feel like herself again. But when it comes to love, her heart is still guarded, and she’s determined to keep Trey Ashton, the charming cop who’s been hovering on the edge of her life, at a safe distance. Trey has spent weeks helping prepare Mike’s estate for his big proposal to Lorielle, using the time to get closer to Brina. But just when Brina thinks she has him figured out—always attentive, always ready with that steady smile—Trey pulls back, leaving her wondering what changed. Then the notes start appearing. Handwritten love notes left in unexpected places—her car, the boutique, the mailbox at the condo. Each one is tender and deeply personal, speaking to parts of her soul she thought no one could see. Brina is swept up in the romance of it, but one question lingers: is Trey the man behind the notes, or is her heart falling for someone else entirely? As Valentine’s Day approaches, Brina finds herself caught in a whirlwind of emotions, navigating the mystery of the notes while grappling with her growing feelings for Trey. When the truth is revealed, will she have the courage to tear down the walls she’s built and embrace the love she deserves? Love Notes and Soft Curves is a heartwarming standalone about second chances, the thrill of vulnerability, and the undeniable magic of love that’s written just for you.
