Love Notes by Ava Wilder

Release Date: April 20, 2027 In this sexy enemies-to-lovers romance set against the vibrant backdrop of Broadway, a pit musician and a conductor with a tense past reunite in the same musical, from the author of Some Kind of Famous and Will They or Won’t They Sylvia Roth has tirelessly worked to establish herself as an exceptional Broadway pit musician… and bad luck charm, since every show she joins closes almost immediately. When she’s offered the coveted drum chair at Heartless, one of Broadway’s longest-running musicals, she eagerly accepts—only to discover that the current music director is Max Edelman, who’s been her (upsettingly hot) nemesis ever since he fired her mid-show a decade ago. However, hanging onto a steady job is more important than holding onto old grudges, and since they’re the two newest members of a disgruntled orchestra that’s been stuck together for almost thirty years, Syl and Max have no choice but to form an uneasy truce.  The more she gets to know him, the more Syl is distressed to realize that Max might not be as bad as she thought– and that the chemistry sparking between them might be more than just musical. But as one of the few female drummers in an already male-dominated industry, she’s all too aware of the potential consequences of indulging their attraction. Complicating things further, her oldest friend– the anonymous online pen pal she’s been confiding in since middle school– seems dead set on finally taking things to the next level.  When it comes to her career, Syl’s always been fearless about blazing her own trail. But can she be as brave when it comes to her heart?
