NOTE: Ailene Frances is the pen name of Eileen Sheehan for genre clarity   What readers are saying:  "This is a time period I have researched extensively, as I set one of my own novels in 1798. The mannerisms and speech patterns are believable, and the story line and characters are worthy. I enjoy this genre and the author’s treatment of the tropes. Miscommunication is always a great plot tool and Ms. Frances handles it well. I think my favorite character was Sara, warm and helpful." "This is a historical romance. You wouldn't know by looking at the cover so don't let that stop you.     This is a great start to her first run in historical romance. My first thought when I started reading was it was slow and was going to be like the rest..you know rich privileged marry blah blah blah..THIS is not like all the rest! It has marriage yes but miscommunication, dangerous awful situations. This is a good book..give this a read..you won't be disappointed!"   Click here is looking for audio format from audible.com
