Love is Love - Jigsaw puzzle

Award-winning Yaqui artist, Michael Horse, painted "Love is Love" to honor our Two-Spirit relatives. These two women wrapped in blanket which indicates they are either courting or are married. What a wonderful way to play with family and friends while broadening the scope of what gender is! Two Spirit people are not only accepted in most traditional Indigenous communities, but also honored. In many tribes they have traditionally held places of respect as medicine people, healers, the parents of orphans, diplomats, and more. Two Spirit people are understood to embody both genders which blesses them with a deeper understanding of the human condition. ---------------------------- Assembling puzzles is the perfect family bonding activity.
