Love Is Forever 30-Day Couple's Devotional

Love, that 4 letter word that gives us all the feels. What comes to your mind when you think of love? Do you think of fairy tales? Do you think of butterflies? Maybe you think of this mysterious force that causes you to do things that you later regret? Or maybe you picture Jesus' outstretched arms on the cross? For many of us we have been incorrectly taught what love is. Those lessons may have came from entertainment, peers, false observations of other's relationships, and any other avenues that has fed us lies regarding the true characteristics of love. But the good news is, God has already given us the roadmap to love. Join Tyrone and Bridget as they tackle the 15 declarations of love in 1 Corinthians 13. Being intentional about love is something that they have personally applied in their marriage, now their goal is to help couples dismantle lies once believed about love and to show them that love is a deliberate action. They want couples to know that there is hope for their marriage if they're going through a rough patch. It is something worth fighting for. If we view love as though it is something just magically happening in our marriage without any effort on our part, that can prevent us from taking on the responsibility of intentionally loving our spouses. When we choose love, it works. Love is God's perfect system. He would not have told us to love if we were incapable of carrying it out. Love can be forever, if we choose it!
