LV Meteore

Meteore is Louis Vuitton's radiant citrus-aromatic for men — launched in 2020 and created by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, described by the house as a fragrance that "arouses fascination in its wake, like the dazzlingly flamboyant clouds that so captivate humankind." The opening bursts with luminous citrus: mandarin orange, Sicilian orange, and Calabrian bergamot deliver a bright, effervescent freshness that feels immediately clean and energizing. The heart unfolds into pink pepper, Tunisian neroli, Indonesian nutmeg, black pepper, and Guatemalan cardamom — a refined spice harmony that gives Meteore its polished, modern aromatic character. Unlike many citrus-forward fragrances, the neroli-pepper accord keeps the energy alive rather than fading quickly into an aquatic blur. The base is anchored by Java vetiver oil, providing a clean, slightly smoky woody foundation that keeps the composition from feeling too fleeting. Most wearers report 6 to 8 hours on skin with moderate projection — impressive for a fresh citrus aromatic — and performance extends to 8+ hours on clothing. Community comparisons most frequently land on Parfums de Marly Percival, Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce, and Davidoff Cool Water — Meteore sits cleaner and more refined than all three, with noticeably higher-quality citrus materials and a sophisticated dry-down. If you love the idea of a fresh, clean aromatic with genuine luxury craftsmanship and all-day wearability, this is exactly why decants exist — try it risk-free and discover one of the most versatile everyday signatures in the LV lineup.
