Louis Vuitton Ink Mark

Ink Mark is Louis Vuitton's newest unisex release, launched in 2025 as part of the Journey to China collection and created by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. The fragrance centers on the idea of leaving something behind, an impression that lingers in the air and on the skin. It opens with a quiet curl of incense that wraps around creamy sandalwood, then amber warms it into a soft, assured presence. The heart reveals lush, velvety rose enveloped in sacred, smoky white frankincense, then drifts down to the most gorgeous, creamy sandalwood — one of the milkiest sandalwood fragrances in the Louis Vuitton collection. The composition feels woody, powdery, and warm with a refined aromatic quality that sits close to the skin. Expect 6-10 hours longevity and moderate sillage. Most wearers report being able to smell it for around 10 hours on skin, and it stays on clothes really well. The base settles into pure sandalwood and white frankincense — mature, smoky, and intimate without demanding attention. Community comparisons most frequently land on Le Labo Santal 33 and Louis Vuitton LVERS — Ink Mark shares the creamy sandalwood DNA but feels more refined and less overtly earthy than Santal 33, with better longevity and projection. If you love the idea of a clean, artistic woody fragrance with quiet luxury and genuine Louis Vuitton craftsmanship, this is exactly the kind of scent worth exploring through a decant first.
