Louis Vuitton eLVes

eLVes is Louis Vuitton's newest feminine release, launched in 2025 and created by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud — described by the perfumer as "a contemporary amber, with its strong power of attraction, embodies the quintessence of sensuality and elegance of the 21st century." eLVes is notable for being the first fragrance to feature lily-of-the-valley oil extracted directly from the flowers through an unprecedented extraction method developed in Grasse. The opening is very sweet and fruity, and definitely very floral — peach and lily-of-the-valley arrive immediately, with a hint of ginger in the opening. After about 10 minutes, the sweetness recedes and the scent becomes creamy and soapy, revealing a very natural and light coconut note beneath the floral accords — a very pleasant rose and somewhat passively the lily-of-the-valley. The black currant adds brightness while cinnamon provides subtle warmth without dominating the composition. The base brings patchouli and Ambroxan, a dry, musky amber molecule that gives eLVes its contemporary warmth. Most wearers report approximately 7-9 hours on skin with strong projection, though some note moderate performance with about three hours of projection in the first hour. Community comparisons most frequently land on Attrape-Rêves and Cœur Battant — eLVes blends the fruity-floral joy of Attrape-Rêves with the creamy sophistication of Cœur Battant, adding the groundbreaking lily-of-the-valley extraction that sets it apart from both. If you love the Louis Vuitton feminine DNA but want something with a distinctly modern creamy-floral character, a decant lets you experience this innovative release firsthand.
