This vintage firecracker label was produced by the Kwongyuen Hangkee Firecracker Factory in Macau, one of the major exporters of consumer fireworks during the mid-20th century. Created for a brick of 1½" Chinese-type super firecrackers, the label features dramatic comic-style graphics, a bright starburst design, and bold offset printing intended to stand out in American and international retail markets. The wording on the label, including the DOT Class C designation, reflects U.S. import requirements introduced in the late 1960s. Combined with the printing style and Macau origin, these elements place the label’s production in the 1970s, a peak era for brightly illustrated fireworks packaging. A striking example of export advertising ephemera, capturing both the visual flair and cultural character of vintage firecracker branding. Size: 10.0" x 6.0" Condition: Very Good, Age-appropriate wear. Paper toning in accordance with the print's age. Marks/stains as per photo. Wear around the edges and minor paper loss might be present in some prints. Please refer to each print's image to get a better understanding of the condition.
