Lost Colony (Paperback)

Making planetfall without getting shot at was tight. It was the main reason mechanized combat rig operators retired. When Admiral Boal Markson IV gives Jam a secret mission to protect his daughter on Coaster, he knows retirement will be fraught with peril. He won’t be alone. A collection of salvagers, MCR crews, and Alaran cyborgs join him at the last minute, complicating an otherwise delightful ride into the sunset on a colony everyone in the Capian Alliance of Terran Systems had forgotten. Until now. When a new dig uncovers more than exotic minerals, there is a rush of adventurers, corporate mercenaries, and secret governmental organizations grabbing all the loot they can. Long before CATS discovered the ice-bound world of Coaster, aliens crashed a starship full of mysteries. Nothing could possibly go wrong with that kind of technology trapped in the ice. Right? Fans of the previous Tall Boys books, The Last Reaper, Homeworld Lost, and Star Blade will cheer for Jam and his friends to get it right when everything goes wrong.
